The Academy of Finland finances a three-year (2000–2002) research project of the Institutes of Systematic Theology of the Theological Faculties of Helsinki University and Åbo Akademi University (Turku). The project called “Reformed Theology” is led by the Professor for Systematic Theology at Åbo Akademi University Dr. Hans-Olof Kvist.
Five persons work at the project writing their dissertations. Each of them has got twelve to fifteen months full time research period and opportunity to (a) study or congress trip(s). In 2001 the project hosted two workshop weekends with experts of respective areas from abroad, and one more workshop weekend will take place in November 2002.
